Hi, friends!
It’s been an eventful few months since I’ve written to you, and I wonder how you’re doing. We survived March and April – two of the wilder months of 2025. Those months encompassed two eclipses, a Venus Retrograde, Mercury Retrograde, Mars’ final days in Cancer, and a Mars-Pluto opposition. What’s been stirred up in your life?
This month, Venus and Mars finally move past their retrograde degrees and enter new territory. Saturn also moves into a new sign – Aries – after several years in Pisces. You’ve probably sensed something momentous brewing in your life, though it’s early to determine what it is, how it will work, or what to do next. If you feel this way…you’re in the right place for today!
The sense of living in a liminal space is one of the defining characteristics of 2025. The Saturn-Neptune conjunction we’re experiencing is rare. Such alignments happen once every 36 years, and THIS is what it looks / feels like. We are standing on the threshold between the way life used to be and somenew reality that’s not yet defined. We see this theme on the global stage as we wonder what countries will align, which will not. What territorial boundaries will hold, which will be redrawn? What social norms will stay, which will fall away? My question to YOU is this:
How does what’s happening at the macro level resemble what’s happening in your own life?
If no hints of change are visible at this time (i.e., financial, career, relationship, place of living, health, etc.), then what is happening internally for you? There is bound to be a shift in the framework of your life in 2025-26. Since Saturn-Neptune alignments signal the dissolving of old forms and creation of new ones, the rules of the game are changing. The goal now is to stay present for THIS STAGE of the process, make well-considered decisions, and NOT RUSH THE BLOOM TO UNFOLD. One thoughtful step at a time is all we must take.
2025 did not begin on an easy note. But the vibe will change as we get into summer. The collective energy lightens in May, and many of us benefit from a lift in our mood.
The planetary calendar shows supportive alignments scattered through the month. Of note are a number of harmonious alignments to challenging planets. This means May can brings solutions and helps us glide through problems more easily. Expect answers to looming questions, increased support from the people around you, and to reap benefits from a positive attitude in the weeks ahead.
The best part of the month comes later, between May 20-31. Make the most of those days. That being said, there are a few complicated moments in May – the Full Moon May 12 and the Mars/Uranus transits of May 17-19.
The Scorpio Full Moon May 12 is a dramatic one. The Moon is said to be in its “fall” or “depression” while in Scorpio. A planet traveling through fall/depression must deal with circumstances (1) hostile to its nature, which (2) can highlight its shortcomings. The Moon – preferring safety, security, home, simplicity and comfort – instead gets a dose of complexity and intensity early this month.
The impact of the Full Moon on you personally will depend on whether and how it aligns with your natal chart. In the days leading up to May 12, some of us will notice:
Regardless of your experience, remember the beautiful function that full moons serve. Full moons ILLUMINATE; they allow us to SEE what we couldn’t see before. That increases our personal agency and shows us how move forward. Stay curious as to how your current circumstances are molding and shaping you in a valuable way. At the heart of every situation is an invitation to become a more radiant version of yourself.
The Sun aligns with Uranus May 17. As Uranian themes of surprise, ingenuity and rebellion come front and center, you may:
Uranus imparts a strong need to do things YOUR WAY, on YOUR TIME, at YOUR PACE. Standing alone that’d be fine, but I caution you to move wisely mid-month. Mars is in difficult position from May 17-19, creating an undercurrent of complexity and irritability. There’s an increased likelihood of strain, controversy, backlash, arguments, frustration, and taking things the wrong way. Be mindful of your word choice and tone when communicating. Be sure you’ve given due thought to weighty decisions before they are acted upon.
(As a side note, Mars and Uranus transits are very visceral in my experience. As are full moons. So from May 11-20, soothing physical activities like walking should be done regularly to calm the nervous system.)
June brings some supremely beneficial planetary moves.
Venus spends most of June in her home sign Taurus. It’s got to be good when the planet of love, money and pleasure is in good condition. Whoop whoop! Even better, the great benefic Jupiter moves from the sign of its detriment (Gemini) to the sign of its exaltation (Cancer) in June. What a glorious change that will be.
Jupiter in Cancer strengthens our ability to nurture seedlings into big, fruit-bearing trees. June is the beginning of a full year in which we’ll see great REWARDS for DEDICATION and EFFORT. But before that happens, decisions have to be made.
Jupiter in Gemini has drawn our attention in many directions at once since June of last year. Jupiter in Gemini is here, there, and everywhere. It prompted us to experiment, explore, and consider a wide range of possibilities while keeping our options open. That process had its perks. Formulating an enduring, cohesive plan for the future wasn’t one of them. All this changes in June.
When Jupiter moves into Cancer June 9 it immediately squares Saturn. This is the third and final square between Jupiter and Saturn, an aspect we discussed last August and December. Such squares are PIVOT POINTS where refinement must happen before we can move forward. Per my August and December newsletters, many organizations, businesses, and government agencies make cutbacks, change their organizational framework, and implement new operating systems, procedures and laws at that time. Some of us will be impacted in the career space in June.
For all of us, Jupiter-Saturn squares are a reality check. They demonstrate that our time and energy must be used wisely, according to changing values and responsibilities. June is a critical time to review your priorities. Pay close attention to what’s happening around June 9, June 15, and June 22 in particular. You will see where you need to consolidate, pull back and reorganize. Some of us will need to decrease our activities in one area of life to make room for growth / new beginnings in another. That’s a good thing! Here’s why…
Jupiter in Cancer suggests that some area of life is ready to take off. A foundation is available worth committing to – one that will be the centerpiece or “home” (Cancer) from which everything else can grow and flourish (Jupiter). Splitting your energy and attention in lots of directions worked while Jupiter was in Gemini. Once Jupiter goes into Cancer, narrow your focus and prepare to settle in.
From the Sacred Rebels Oracle by Alana Fairchild, the card I pulled is titled “Bring It Into Form.” The message states:
Do it. Now. Don’t dally or dither about the details or worry about how it is all going to work out. The universe loves a bold spirit. Take a step and the universe will rush toward you like an enthusiastic and chivalrous lover – opening doors, hand gently guiding you at your lower back – as you are moved forward. You will promptly be provided with all that is needed to take the next step.
