Hi, friends.
The long-awaited Jupiter-Neptune conjunction has finally arrived. These two planets haven’t come together in the sign of Pisces since the mid-1800’s and ( at least for your favorite astrologer 🙂 it’s a pretty big deal. I could write a thesis on the spectrum of feelings and events one could confront at a time like this. They range from magical-mystical to desperate-delusional.
Jupiter and Neptune are very powerful planets. I feel it in my bones right now as some sort of LONGING. A yearning for something more, something greater, something pure as a childhood wish. But here we are adults, and there’s a murkiness, a complexity of life that seems to taint what’s come of our wish. The question therefore becomes: How can I embrace the messy, harsh realities of the present and still dream a pure, untarnished new dream? Are there aspects of my present reality that as a practical matter can’t fit into this new dream that’s coming into focus?
There’s a certain path of growth and exploration you’ve been on since late 2009, early 2010 that is ending. Something new must take it’s place.
But with all the planets clustered in one portion of the sky right now, the noise of our peripheral vision keeps us from looking ahead. There’s some lack of perspective or static that clouds everything. If it’s hard to visualize your new dream or how you can make it come true with all the interference, that’s OK! Things get clearer as the month concludes.
See the calendar below for a few important events happening over the next few weeks.
Last time, I promised better flow as we got further into April. A significant challenge may continue in your life, but hope for the future grows as the month concludes. It may be blind hope! But there’s a knowing that things are working out for the best. You may not see it, but if you dig deep you’ll sense it. So let the universe work for you in the meantime, and don’t force the outcome.
Three planets in Pisces are urging us to let go, be free, escape it all. The Sun in Aries adds impatience and impulsiveness to the mix. We want to break out, move forward, and freefall really reaalllly bad. But the sky warns us: THERE IS SOMETHING MORE WAITING TO BE REVEALED. As bakers know – the cake may be nearly done, but it can’t be taken out of the oven a moment too soon or it will collapse. Timing is everything.
Do not not fall prey to the Aries impulse to just do it, get it over with already! There is more to be gained with patience while our vision for the future takes root. IF YOU FEEL UNCLEAR, foggy, or in the dark about where you want to head or how to get there, do not worry.
TRUTH: Seeds take root down deep in the Earth, under layers of dirt, in total darkness.
Be the seed who knows its potential is supported, even in total darkness.
April 16
The Full Moon in Libra is coming in hot. Full Moons signal culminations, peaks, revelations, things coming to fruition, and high emotionality. With Libra being the relationship-oriented sign of the Zodiac and Venus (ruler of love and harmony) in a tough spot since DECEMBER… relationships are just REAL right now y’all.
The magazines have hyped this Full Moon up as some romantic fantasy come true. But not so fast. Yes, the Full Moon makes a favorable aspect to Saturn (the planet of commitment), but Venus and Pluto look on with harsh skepticism.
Be thoughtful of making new commitments, business deals, and defining the relationship during this time. Any deal-making on the Full Moon comes under tremendous pressure – any offer being made to you was borne of necessity, not choice. Pressure forms diamonds; it can also make us desperate. I’m not saying this Full Moon is good nor is it bad. The stakes are just high. So hold out on decisions until you’re absolutely clear.
April 18
When Mercury conjoins Uranus in Taurus, life picks up speed. There may be breakthroughs in thought, communication, or unpredictable events that quicken the pace. I hope some “aha” moment, epiphany, or unexpected piece of news starts bringing things into better focus for you around this time.
On the same day, the Sun will square Pluto. Because Pluto deals in secrets, the Sun may bring something hidden to light. Yet another reason why moving fast or making major decisions before the 18th is ill-advised. This is definitely a day where new info helps us pave the way forward on a MORE ILLUMINATED PATH!
April 30
A New Moon Solar Eclipse conjoins Uranus and Venus conjoins Pisces. Simultaneously! Like a puzzle clicking into place, we can finally expect
=>>> BIG. BOLD. MOVEMENT. <<<=
There are important turning points in our lives that demarcate a before and an after. That’s how I see this eclipse. The cake is finished baking and on April 30th, I suspect we’ll all be moving fast and furious into the future. In an instant, we blast into a new reality on a rocket ship. Life as it existed before will never be the same.
Eclipses have a way of looking out for us when we can’t look out for ourselves. Sometimes it’s exciting, sometimes it’s painful. Events may feel fated and out of our control, as old things get eclipsed out of our lives so that new doors can open. With this eclipse on the North Node, the changes that come are aligning us with destiny guys! That’s something to celebrate. 🙂
So in late April and even into May, let’s SAY “YES” to:
As for building a bridge into future, the Rewriting Well-Being event is coming up April 26-28. The incredible lineup of speakers will be recorded, so don’t count yourself out just because you have other things to do. Personal development is truly “en vogue” right now, but this is something different than I’ve seen. I have no vested interest in this event and have told you about it TWICE. I hope that speaks for itself! Read more about the event here.
xo,
Jules
