Hi, friends.
Thanks for keeping in touch last month. I’ve heard incredible stories about how the March astrology panned out for you. I’m glad to hear you’re staying present and dealing with things responsibly, no matter how unfair or unrelenting life has gotten.
That’s the name of the game right now with all the Saturnian pressure in play – keeping our nose to the grindstone despite our desire to ESCAPE IT ALL! This coming week is no exception. But as the title to my email suggests, better flow is ahead.
The important dates for these next 2 weeks are shown on the image below.
April 1
We begin the month with a New Moon in Aries. Astrologically speaking (as in nature), Aries season symbolizes the new year. We’re being re-seeded with fire, a fresh spark of life, at this time. You may have felt your physical energy pick up this past week. Praise Jesus, Buddha, and all the prophets for that, as most of us needed that boost to keep plugging away at pressing matters.
While New Moons are prized as the best time for starting new things, other current planetary positions make this one tricky. Any new goals or projects started at this time are likely to be slow burns – things we don’t necessarily love doing but need to do. This New Moon is about being responsible and committing to good habits for long-term benefit / growth. It’s not a time for quick results.
April 2
Mercury conjoins the Sun. Mercury rules our lower mind – our thinking, intellect, thought process, how we communicate, etc. Mercury’s been traveling close to the Sun lately and guess what…when planets travel close to the Sun they get HOT, leading to irritation, exhaustion, and all the ways you would feel if you walked a few miles across the desert floor in the afternoon during mid-summer. Right?! I’ve felt that way lately. Total mental burnout.
But the interesting thing is that when a planet conjoins the Sun exactly, as it will April 2nd, it’s said to be protected by the Sun (like being the eye of a hurricane). It’s a beautiful thing that this lands on a Saturday! It’s a GREAT DAY FOR MENTAL REST. Though I’ve worked the weekends quite a bit lately, I noticed that finally taking a day off my computer Sunday made me 3x as productive come Monday. Ever realize you’re NOT “getting behind” by taking time off?
April 4
Ok, here’s the big one. Mars conjoins Saturn April 4th. You’re feeling the buildup now and though the pressure peaks on the 4th, you’ll likely feel it continue (though fading) in the days to follow.
Mars really wants to get things done. It internally presses us forward, quickening our speed, pushing to marks things off the to-do list. Saturn is limitation, it slows, asks for patience, discipline, and rigor. See the distinction? When Mars & Saturn come together in the sky, it’s like driving with the gas pedal and the brake at the same time. There’s a lot of stop-and-go or a quick sand / tires in the mud sort of thing happening.
So whatever is “in your way,” slowing you down, taking longer than it should, and so forth… you’re swimming against strong currents right now. For those of us who move slowly, more methodically, and who have natural patience and endurance, this might feel okay. For others, it could appear you’re not making progress. But you are. It’s ok to tread water this first week of April.
April 5 & April 12
Venus does a gleeful cartwheel from Aquarius into Pisces on April 5th, waving “so long” to both malefic planets (Mars the bully & Saturn the disciplinarian) who she’s been stuck between for a few long, fun-deprived weeks. If you look back over my emails since December, you’ll notice that Venus has been in a rough position for a long. damn. time. And she’s about to get her well-deserved break traveling through Pisces from April 5 – May 2.
During that time, on April 12, Jupiter conjoins Neptune in the same sign. Note that Venus, Jupiter and Neptune are ALL well-placed in Pisces; they each have an affinity to that sign and can operate for our benefit. This is an incredibly auspicious and lucky time, with incredible potentialto reward you for the things you’ve worked hard at!
I’m not telling you to expect a windfall, but a true reflection of what you’ve earned and a testimony to your faith finally coming ’round.
Just keep in mind that Jupiter + Neptune is dreamy and can make us a bit delusional / overly optimistic. Keep your feet on the ground and stay practical. Should you get your biggest pay day ever, don’t buy the Ferrari. LOL. (Jupiter + Neptune has you forgetting gas prices are high and we’ll all be driving electric cars soon anyway.)
With the pileup of tasks on my plate, that’s all I can write for now. I hope this is helpful and recommend that over these next few weeks, WE SAY ‘YES’ TO:
See you on the flip side. 🙂
xo,
Jules
