Hi, friends!

My last email was all about this extensive Venus-Mars conjunction we’re having. I’ve heard so many accounts about how relationships have come full focus since Venus first went retrograde back in December. The Venus themes haven’t stopped. Now with Mars on scene, we’re being pushed to DO SOMETHING about whatever personal or relationship dynamics have shown themselves – taking advantage of our strengths and improving on our weaknesses.

I’ve had incredible opportunities to walk the walk these last few weeks, which I can’t wait to share. But first, let’s look at the astrology calendar for the first half of March.

NOW through March 15 

Over the next few weeks, Venus and Mars remain conjoined in the sky. As I explained in my Journey of Venus seminar, a conjunction in astrology is neither good nor bad. The planetary energies are simply face to face and must deal with each other. The ideal outcome – the planets working well together – is not handed to us but is something astrology empowers us to create. Our awareness of the energies allows us to consciously work them together like a potter works his clay.

The play between these 2 planets is special since they represent complimentary qualities that are nevertheless polar opposites! Venus wants to harmonize with others, make peace, is passive, cooperative and pleasing. Whereas Mars is all about the self, is ego-driven, action-oriented, aggressive and willing to plainly state what the “I” wants.

We must embody both within ourselves if we are to have satisfying lives, lovers, jobs, etc. that reflect our worth. The problem occurs when we favor one principle, as other people in our lives become invited to embody the opposite. Then instead of both parties balancing their own Venus-Mars and coming to the relationship balanced, one person plays Venus and the other plays Mars. This creates an off-kilter dynamic that eventually causes issues. It begins internally then manifests externally.

It’s up to each of us to observe how well our assertive and receptive energies are functioning together. Do your relationships today feel like a fun game of ping-pong? Or are wars brewing here and there, highlighting relationship imbalances or differences in each person’s perspective? There’s little neutral ground. Each important relationship in your life can VIBE SUPER HIGH or FACE SIGNIFICANT HARDSHIP right now. In case of the latter, what could the relationship be showing you about yourself?

In almost every case, a person’s natal chart favors Venus or Mars. We find one energy more easy to work with than the other. So while it’s natural to have some imbalance, now is the perfect time to take corrective action and find ourselves in improved relationships. One way we can all do that is paying more attention to our inner voice. Are you your own best friend or your own worst enemy?

TRUTH: Our most important relationship is the one we have with ourselves.

How do you talk to yourself?

• Does that inner voice bully you for your imperfections?
• Do you feel beautiful when you look in the mirror or do you see features you don’t like?
• Do you replay mistakes in your head over and over again?
• Do you beat yourself up for not being assertive?

This is the Venus-Mars dialogue inside you, and it’s something you have full agency to change without involving anyone else. When you do it, you’ll be surprised to see your outer reality changing too! 

I’m a full blown peacemaker, so asserting myself has never been easy. Then in early February, I had 3 scenarios in a single day to practice my assertiveness despite all the unease I felt doing it. Over the coming days I felt more and more empowered thinking about how I was able to be more direct than usual. Then on Feb.18th (when I told you to expect breakthroughs) I had a MAJOR homecoming. I made an extremely bold proposal and received an immediate “yes” from my biggest legal client. It was an incredible reward for the changes I’ve worked so hard to make.

Our lives progress in incredible ways when we tap into our Venus-Mars dynamic with grace and self-assurance. I hope this transit brings progress for you like it has for me!

March 2-3

On March 2nd, the Pisces New Moon conjoins Jupiter. Around the same time, Mercury conjoins Saturn and Venus and Mars conjoin Pluto. With all of these aspects building simultaneously, we are presented an opportunity to lay the groundwork for growth and reward over the next 6 months.

You may be sensing this as my email reaches you. There’s great intensity right now combined with faith and hopefulness about how to get where we want to go with our new awareness. The recent astrology shined a spotlight on our deeper issues and the habitual behavior patterns we’re stuck in. Now we’re feeling deliberative and focused on applying the information. 

If you feel challenged by something over the next few days, this is your test. Saturn and Pluto are giving you a perfect opportunity to prove what you’ve learned, handling situations that used to trigger you in a new way. 
THIS IS THE MOMENT, THIS IS THE TIME, FOR A NEW BEHAVIOR PATTERN TO REPLACE THE OLD ONE. If you succeed, Jupiter conjunct the New Moon is waiting to deliver you rewards over the next 6 months!!!

So in early March, we say YES to –

1. Seeing your relationships reflect important, useful information about how you’ve favored Venus or Mars in the past. Begin integrating complimentary qualities and see how your relationship dynamics change!
2. Improving your inner voice. Healthy internal dynamics improves our “point of attraction” and manifests external rewards.
3. Facing triggering situations and implementing a new response pattern. It’s often the case that a repeating issue stops showing up once we’ve learned the lesson.
